Today we begin the series on leading a family through a crisis. This series is based on the book Changed Forever which details the events surrounding Pastor Schuurmans and his family as they dealt with his daughter Sarah’s traumatic brain injury and all that came with it. We are a small enough group to know each other affectionately. We get together several times each week to learn about God and ourselves, and we encourage each other to act on what we learn. As the hymn says, we are “old-fashioned because [we] believe that the Bible is God’s holy Word, that Jesus, who lived among men long ago, is divine, and the Christ of God.”
We are currently located outside the small town of Tea, South Dakota just a few minutes south of Sioux Falls. We are hoping, praying and working toward moving to the north edge of Sioux Falls in the not-too-distant future as we build on 7 acres of land with which we have been blessed.
