“We walk by faith, not by sight. Not by what we see with our physical eyes: we see with the eyes of faith what others don’t see. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Okay, we’re talking about thanksgiving and seeing the invisible. We look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen–not seen. But the things that are seen are temporal; the things that are not seen are eternal. We look to them. Our charge is to look at the things which are invisible. And I tell you that there’s a link between developing that capability and truly being thankful.”
