Christmas is many things to many people, but have you ever dwelt on the mystery inherent to the day?

“See, God could not die for man. Just like a sheep couldn’t die and a goat couldn’t die and a turtledove couldn’t die for a man. Man for a man–it’s the only fair exchange. So God had to become a man. So we read in Galatians 4:4 ‘But when the the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law.’ Had to be a man; dying for men.”
